Cedar Breaks National Monument, UT

I spent the weekend down in Cedar City, UT to see family and reunite with a childhood friend and decided to pay a visit to Cedar Breaks. The drive from Cedar City was beautiful! You spend a good 30 minutes of the drive going through the canyon and the views are stunning. It was about a 45 minute drive before we got to the visitors center. We took the Spectra Point and Rampart Overlook trail (about 8 miles to and back). It was such a beautiful trail with cliffs on one side and woods on the other. Due to the cliffs, I wouldn’t recommend bringing very young children unless you plan to keep them close at all times. The hike is pretty moderate. All I packed for this hike was a first aid kit, one water bottle, a sandwich, bug spray, and an extra jacket (your 10,000ft up, it will most likely be a little chilly).

Let me know if you have any question. I hope you all had a great weekend! Let me know where you went or where I should go next!

All the love,

Ashley
